Projects We Love from Atlanta Interior Designers

Have you ever driven by a home  and thought, “wow, I love the way they did (insert door, color scheme, renovation), I should remember this for my house”? It’s one of the great things about living in Atlanta, inspiration ah-ha moments happen a lot around here. With so much local talent, there’s a lot to be take notes on and be inspired by. We took to Houzz to track down some of projects we love from Atlanta interior designers.

Isn’t this Decatur Craftsman in the photo above gorgeous? We love the color scheme First Street Builders chose to accent this updated classic. The combination of creme, rich navy and dusty green give this home a modern face lift.

John Rogers Renovations took this bathroom from so-so to spectacular. The room is spacious and elegant but doesn’t go overboard in size or scale. The white cabinetry, brushed nickel hardware and marble countertops make for a clean color palette (ideal for a bathroom) and is highlighted by the soothing sky blue walls. Topped off with a sparkling crystal chandelier, it’d be hard not to feel gorgeous in this bathoom every morning!

The 2012 Southern Living Idea House in Senoia looks as good as it did in 2012 as it does in 2015. The designers created a custom nailhead headboard and built in bookcases to make this bedroom cozy and perfect for any book lover. This also a great idea if you have a fireplace you don’t need. The two tones of grey (Sherwin Williams Gauntlet Grey on the bookcase, color unknown on the wall and ceiling) divide the room and add depth. Lastly, the Serena & Lily bedspread and linens are an expected burst of color and make this design young and fun.

Sign us up for this amazing wet bar in Ansley Park! Things we love about this include: the grown-up citrus color scheme and bead board, wine fridge, white marble counter tops and ample storage for bottles of varying heights, crystal and serving ware. It’s a slam dunk design by Darden Design Group and we’re ready to move in (or at least attend a party here!)
